If a fly falls into a vessel

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَىِ الذُّبَابِ سُمٌّ وَفِي الآخَرِ شِفَاءٌ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ فِي الطَّعَامِ فَامْقُلُوهُ فِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُقَدِّمُ السُّمَّ وَيُؤَخِّرُ الشِّفَاءَ

Translation

“On one of the wings of a fly there is a poison and on the other is the cure. If it falls into the food, then dip it into it, for it puts the poison first and holds back the cure.”
