“And also upon you. Go back and repeat your prayer, for you have not prayed.” So he went back and repeated his prayer, then he came and greeted the Prophet ﷺ. He said: “And also upon you. Go back and repeat your prayer, for you have not prayed.” On the third occasion, the man said: “Teach me, O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “When you stand up to offer the prayer, perform ablution properly, then stand to face the prayer direction and say Allahu Akbar. Then recite whatever you can of Qur’an, and then bow until you can feel at ease bowing. Then stand up until you feel at ease standing, then prostrate until you feel at ease prostrating. Then raise your head until you are sitting up straight. Do that throughout your prayer.”

machine translationʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān narrated it from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, from Saʿīd, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah; this was said from him by Musaddad, ʿAlī b. al-Madīnī, Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal, al-Muqaddamī and ʿAmr b. ʿAlī. Bundār differed from them, narrating it from Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, from ʿUbaydullāh, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah, without saying "from his father." ʿĪsā b. Yūnus, Ibn Numayr, Abū Usāmah, ʿAbd al-Raḥīm b. Sulaymān, ʿAbd al-Aʿlā b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlā, Abū Ḍamrah, ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī, Muḥammad b. Fulayḥ b. Sulaymān and Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd al-Umawī narrated it from ʿUbaydullāh, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar, the brother of ʿUbaydullāh, narrated it from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah, and this is the preserved (maḥfūẓ) version.
