✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to the cemetery and greeted its inhabitants. He said: Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the abode of a believing people. And we, if Allah wills, shall join you. I wish that we had seen our brothers. They said: Are we not your brothers, O Messenger of Allah? He said: You are my companions, and my brothers are people who have not come yet. I will precede you to the Ḥawḍ (the Cistern). They said: How will you recognize those of your nation who have not yet come, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Tell me, if a man has horses with white blazes and white legs among pure black horses, will he not recognize his own horses? They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: They will come with white blazes and white limbs from the traces of ablution, and I will precede them to the Ḥawḍ. Indeed, some men will be driven away from my Cistern as a stray camel is driven away. I will call to them: Come here! But it will be said: They changed things after you. And I will say: Away with you, away with you.
