✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by him while he was moving his lips, and said: 'What are you saying, O Abu Umamah?' He said: 'I am remembering my Lord.' He said: 'Shall I not inform you of more – or better – than your remembrance throughout the night with the day, and the day with the night? That you say: Subhan Allah 'adada ma khalaqa, wa Subhan Allah mil'a ma khalaqa, wa Subhan Allah 'adada ma fi al-ardi wa al-sama'i, wa Subhan Allah mil'a ma fi al-ardi wa al-sama'i, wa Subhan Allah 'adada ma ahsa kitabuhu, wa Subhan Allah 'adada kulli shay'in, wa Subhan Allah mil'a kulli shay'in, and that you say the praise in the like manner.'
