✧ I missed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night in bed, so I began searching for him with my hand. My hand fell upon the bottoms of his feet while they were erected, and I heard him saying: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and I seek refuge in Your pardon from Your punishment. I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot enumerate praise of You; You are as You have praised Yourself." This is the hadith of al-Dawraqi. 'Ali b. Shu'ayb said: from 'Ubayd Allah, and he said: "I cannot enumerate praise of You nor extol You enough."
