✧ I missed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who had been with me in my bed. I found him prostrating, with his heels together, facing the qiblah with the tips of his toes. I heard him saying: "I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your pardon from Your punishment, and in You from You. I praise You, but I cannot fully praise You as You deserve." When he finished, he said: "O 'A'ishah, has your devil taken hold of you?" She said: "Do you not have a devil?" He said: "There is no human being but has a devil." I said: "Even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Even me, but I called upon Allah against him and he submitted."
