✧ I came to Madinah and said: “I will certainly observe the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” I saw him when he began the prayer say the takbir and raise—meaning his hands—and I saw his thumbs level with his ears. He mentioned part of the hadith and said: “Then he descended and prostrated, and his head was between his palms for the amount of time he began the prayer.”
