وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:

لَمَّا رَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ آخِرِ رَكْعَةٍ قَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ، وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ، وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ بِمَكَّةَ " زَادَ أَحْمَدُ: " مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ". وَقَالُوا: " اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ، وَاجْعَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

Translation

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head from the last rak'ah, he said: "O Allah, save al-Walid b. al-Walid, Salamah b. Hisham, 'Ayyash b. Abi Rabi'ah, and the weak ones in Makkah." Ahmad added: "among the Muslims." They said: "O Allah, make Your punishment severe on Mudar, and send upon them years like the years of Yusuf."
