أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ - وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ بُنْدَارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ:

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَدَخَلَ رَجُلٌ فَصَلَّى، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ [ ﷺ ] فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: ارْجِعْ فَصَلِّ فَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ، حَتَّى فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ مَا أَعْلَمُ غَيْرَ هَذَا. قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " إِذَا قُمْتَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَكَبِّرْ، ثُمَّ اقْرَأْ بِمَا تَيَسَّرَ مَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ، ثُمَّ ارْكَعْ حَتَّى تَطْمَئِنَّ رَاكِعًا، ثُمَّ ارْفَعْ حَتَّى تَعْتَدِلَ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ اسْجُدْ حَتَّى تَطْمَئِنَّ سَاجِدًا، ثُمَّ ارْفَعْ حَتَّى تَعْتَدِلَ جَالِسًا، وَافْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ كُلِّهَا

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ entered the mosque, then a man entered and prayed, then he greeted the Prophet ﷺ, and he returned the greeting. The Prophet ﷺ said: Go back and pray, for you have not prayed—until he did that three times. The man said: By the One who sent you with the truth, I do not know any other than this. He said: When you stand for prayer, say the takbir, then recite what is easy for you of the Quran, then bow until you are at ease in bowing, then rise until you are standing straight, then prostrate until you are at ease in prostration, then rise until you are sitting straight, and do that throughout your prayer.
