✧ A man came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of God, I saw in my sleep last night – as one sees in a dream – as if I was praying behind a tree. I saw as if I recited a sajdah verse and prostrated. Then I saw the tree as if it prostrated along with my prostration. I heard it, while it was prostrating, saying: ‘O God, write for me a reward with You through it, and make it a treasure for me with You, and remove from me a burden through it, and accept it from me as You accepted from Your servant Dawud.’” Ibn Abbas said: “Then I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ recite a sajdah verse, then prostrate. I heard him, while he was prostrating, say the like of what the man reported from the words of the tree.”
