أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ:

كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَةُ مُؤَذِّنِينَ: بِلَالٌ، وَأَبُو مَحْذُورَةَ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِذَا أَذَّنَ عَمْرٌو فَإِنَّهُ ضَرِيرُ الْبَصَرِ فَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ، وَإِذَا أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ فَلَا يَطْعَمَنَّ أَحَدٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had three muezzins: Bilal, Abu Mahdhurah, and 'Amr b. Umm Maktum. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When 'Amr gives the call to prayer, he is blind of sight, so let him not deceive you, and when Bilal gives the call to prayer, let no one eat.
