أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِنَّ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ، فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُؤَذِّنَ بِلَالٌ؛ وَكَانَ بِلَالٌ لَا يُؤَذِّنُ حَتَّى يَرَى الْفَجْرَ.

✧ Indeed Ibn Umm Maktum gives the call to prayer at night, so eat and drink until Bilal gives the call to prayer; and Bilal would not give the call to prayer until he saw the dawn.
