✧ We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while we were young men of similar age, and we stayed with him twenty nights. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was compassionate and gentle. When he thought that we had missed our families—or longed for them—he asked us about those we had left behind, and we told him. He said: 'Return to your families, stay with them, teach them, and command them.' He mentioned things I remember and things I do not remember, and he said: 'Pray as you have seen me praying. When the time for prayer comes, let one of you call the adhan, and let the eldest of you lead you in prayer.'
