✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about the time of the prayer. He mentioned the hadith in full about the times of the prayer over two days and two nights, and he said regarding the first night: "Then Bilal called the adhan for 'Isha' when the whiteness of the day had gone, and the Prophet ﷺ commanded him, so he performed the iqama and prayed." And he said regarding the second night: "Then Bilal called the adhan for 'Isha' when the whiteness of the day had gone, but the Prophet ﷺ delayed it, so we slept, then we slept many times. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and said: 'The people have prayed and slept, and you have been in prayer since you have been waiting for the prayer.'"
