✧ Al-Fadl b. 'Abbas was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a woman from Khath'am came to ask him for a ruling. Al-Fadl began looking at her and she at him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned al-Fadl's face to the other side. She said, 'O Messenger of Allah, Allah's obligation upon His servants concerning Hajj has overtaken my father, an old man who cannot sit firmly on a mount. May I perform Hajj on his behalf?' He said, 'Yes.' That was during the Farewell Hajj.
