Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 3214

✧ Permissibility of applying perfume on the Day of Sacrifice after shaving and before visiting the House

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ، وَبَسَطَتْ يَدَيْهَا:

أَنَا طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ، وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ

Translation

  1. ʿAbd al-Jabbār b. al-ʿAlāʾ
  2. Sufyān
  3. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. al-Qāsim
  4. his father
  5. ʿĀʾishah
  6. And Basaṭat Yadayhā

✧ I perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with these two hands of mine for his ihram when he entered ihram, and for his exiting ihram before he circumambulated the House.
