Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 3155

✧ The time for throwing the pebbles on the Day of Sacrifice

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ؛ ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ بَكْرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، [قَالَ ]: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى، [زَادَ ابْنُ مَعْمَرٍ]: وَاحِدًا - يَعْنِي جَمْرَةً وَاحِدَةً -، وَقَالَا: وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَعِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ would throw the pebbles on the Day of Sacrifice in the forenoon. Ibn Ma‘mar added: one — meaning one Jamrah — and they said: As for after that, it is when the sun declines.
