✧ Virtue of Guarding the Sight, Hearing, and Tongue on the Day of Arafah

وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ أَبُو حَبِيبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُكَيْنٌ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

كَانَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ، فَجَعَلَ الْفَتَى يُلَاحِظُ النِّسَاءَ، بِمِثْلِهِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَصْرِفُ وَجْهَهُ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ: يَا ابْنَ أَخِي

Translation

✧ Al-Fadl b. 'Abbas was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the Day of 'Arafah, and the young man began glancing at the women, with a similar narration, except that he said: He turned his face, and he did not say: O son of my brother.
