حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ قَالَ:
مَرِضَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَرَضًا شَدِيدًا فَدَعَا وَلَدَهُ فَجَمَعَهُمْ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ حَجَّ مِنْ مَكَّةَ مَاشِيًا حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ سَبْعَمِائَةِ حَسَنَةٍ، كُلُّ حَسَنَةٍ مِثْلُ حَسَنَاتِ الْحَرَمِ، قِيلَ لَهُ: مَا حَسَنَاتُ الْحَرَمِ ؟ قَالَ: بِكُلِّ حَسَنَةٍ مِائَةُ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ

✧ Ibn Abbas became severely ill, so he called his children and gathered them, and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever performs Hajj from Makkah on foot until he returns to Makkah, Allah will record for him for every step seven hundred good deeds, each good deed like the good deeds of the Haram.' It was said to him: What are the good deeds of the Haram? He said: 'For every good deed, one hundred thousand thousand good deeds.'
