Translation

✧ I saw Muhammad b. ʿAbbād b. Jaʿfar kiss the Stone and prostrate on it, then he said: I saw your maternal uncle Ibn ʿAbbās kiss it and prostrate on it. And Ibn ʿAbbās said: I saw ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb kiss it and prostrate on it, then he said: I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ do this, so I did it.
