✧ The Traveler's Supplication in the Morning

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَيْضًا، يَعْنِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَيْضًا، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَبَدَا لَهُ الْفَجْرُ قَالَ: سَمِعَ سَامِعٌ بِحَمْدِ اللهِ وَنِعْمَتِهِ وَحُسْنِ بَلَائِهِ عَلَيْنَا، رَبَّنَا صَاحِبْنَا، فَأَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا، عَائِذٌ بِاللهِ مِنَ النَّارِ "، يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ يَرْفَعُ بِهِ صَوْتَهُ

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ was on a journey and dawn appeared to him, he said: 'A hearer has heard the praise of God and His favor and His excellent trial upon us. Our Lord, accompany us, and bestow favor upon us, seeking refuge in God from the Fire.' He said that three times, raising his voice.
