✧ When he mounted his camel, setting out on a journey, he would say the takbir three times, then say: "Glory be to the One who has subjected this to us, and we were not capable of it; and indeed to our Lord we will return. O Allah, we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness and piety, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make our journey easy for us and fold up its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion in the journey and the Guardian over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, from a gloomy return, and from an evil sight in family and property." When he returned, he would say these words and add: "Returning, repenting, worshiping, and to our Lord praising."
