✧ Prohibition of a Woman Traveling for a Day and a Night Without a Mahram

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُسَافِرَ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ

Translation

✧ It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel a day and a night except with a mahram.
