حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِنَفْسِهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَعَلَى عِيَالِهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَعَلَى قَرَابَتِهِ أَوْ ذِي رَحِمِهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَهَاهُنَا وَهَاهُنَا

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ When one of you is poor, let him begin with himself; if there is surplus, then on his dependents; if there is surplus, then on his relatives or kin; if there is surplus, then here and there.
