✧ The collective chapters of the charity of the breaking of the fast in Ramadan

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ:

صَدَقَةُ رَمَضَانَ صَاعٌ مِنْ طَعَامٍ، مَنْ جَاءَ بِبُرٍّ قُبِلَ مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِشَعِيرٍ قُبِلَ مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِتَمْرٍ قُبِلَ مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِسُلْتٍ قُبِلَ مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِزَبِيبٍ قُبِلَ مِنْهُ، وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ: وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِسَوِيقٍ أَوْ دَقِيقٍ قُبِلَ مِنْهُ

Translation

✧ The charity of Ramadan is a saa' of food. Whoever brought wheat, it was accepted from him; whoever brought barley, it was accepted from him; whoever brought dates, it was accepted from him; whoever brought sult, it was accepted from him; whoever brought raisins, it was accepted from him; and I think he said: and whoever brought sawiq or fine flour, it was accepted from him.
