✧ The collective chapters of the charity of the breaking of the fast in Ramadan

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَضَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ فِي رَمَضَانَ عَلَى النَّاسِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، عَلَى كُلِّ حُرٍّ وَعَبْدٍ، ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordained the zakah of breaking the fast in Ramadan upon the people: a sāʿ of dates or a sāʿ of barley, upon every free person and slave, male and female of the Muslims.
