✧ That they were sitting and mentioned what makes ghusl obligatory. Those present from the Muhājirūn said: “When the circumcised parts meet the circumcised parts, ghusl becomes obligatory.” And those present from the Anṣār said: “No, not until he ejaculates.” Abū Mūsā said: “I will bring you the report.” So he arose and went to ʿĀʾishah ؓ and greeted, then said: “I want to ask you about something, and I am shy of it.” She said: “Do not be shy to ask about something you would ask your mother who bore you, for I am only your mother.” He said: “I said: What makes ghusl obligatory?” She said: “You have fallen upon the well-informed one. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘When he sits between her four limbs and the circumcised parts meet the circumcised parts, ghusl becomes obligatory.’”
