✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the collection of charity. It was said: 'Ibn Jamil, Khalid b. al-Walid, and Abbas b. Abd al-Muttalib have refused.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Ibn Jamil has no grievance except that he was poor and Allah enriched him. As for Khalid b. al-Walid, you are wronging Khalid; he has withheld his coats of mail and his slaves for the cause of Allah. As for al-Abbas b.
