✧ There is no zakat on less than five camels. When they are five, one sheep is due up to ten. When they are ten, two sheep up to fifteen. When they are fifteen, three sheep up to twenty." Then he mentioned the hadith in full. When camels are numerous, for every fifty a hiqqah is due. Neither an old decrepit animal nor one with a defect is to be taken, unless the collector wishes. He counts their young and old. There is no zakat on less than forty sheep. When they are forty, one sheep is due up to one hundred and twenty. When they increase by one, two sheep up to two hundred. When they increase by one, three up to three hundred. When sheep are numerous, for every hundred one sheep is due. Neither an old decrepit animal nor one with a defect is to be taken, unless the collector wishes. He counts their young and old. Separate herds are not to be combined, nor combined herds separated, for fear of charity.
