حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَنْبَسِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ، حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ، وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ، ثُمَّ حَرُمَتْ عَلَيَّ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَمْوَالُهُمْ وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ

✧ I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no god but God, and establish prayer, and give zakat. Then their blood and their wealth become inviolable to me, and their reckoning is with God.
