✧ 'Umar had a vow in the pre-Islamic era to perform spiritual retreat for one night. He asked the Prophet ﷺ, and he ordered him to retreat. The Prophet ﷺ had given him a slave girl from the captives of Hunayn. While he was in retreat in the mosque, the people entered shouting "Allahu Akbar," and he said: "What is this?" They said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ has sent the captives of Hunayn." He said: "So they sent that slave girl."
