حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ قَالَ:
دَعَا أَعْرَابِيًّا إِلَى طَعَامِهِ وَذَلِكَ بَعْدَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ، فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: إِنِّي صَائِمٌ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَعْنِي: يَنْهَى عَنْ صِيَامِ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ
Translation

✧ He invited a bedouin to his food after the day of Naḥr. The bedouin said: “I am fasting.” He said: “I heard ‘Abd Allāh b. ‘Umar say: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ forbidding fasting on these days.”
