حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مَوْلَاةٍ، يُقَالُ لَهَا: لَيْلَى، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ، يَعْنِي جَدَّةَ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَهِيَ صَائِمَةٌ، فَقَرَّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا، فَقَالَ: " تَعَالَيْ فَكُلِي "، فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: الصَّائِمُ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her while she was fasting, so she brought food near to him. He said: "Come and eat." She said: "I am fasting." So the Prophet ﷺ said: "The fasting person, when food is eaten in his presence, the angels send blessings upon him."
