✧ Abu Qilabah narrated this hadith to me, then said to me: "Would you like to meet the one who narrated it to me?" He guided me to him, and I met him. He said: "A relative of mine named Anas b. Malik narrated to me: I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ about some camels of mine that had been taken, and I found him eating. He invited me to his food, but I said, 'I am fasting.' He said: 'Come close,' or he said: 'Come, let me tell you about that. God has relieved the traveler of fasting and half the prayer, and the pregnant and the breastfeeding woman.'" After that he would say: "Would that I had eaten from the food of the Messenger of God ﷺ when he invited me to it."
