✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ seeking his legal opinion while she was listening from behind the door. He said: O Messenger of Allah, prayer overtakes me while I am junub; should I fast? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Prayer also overtakes me while I am junub, and I fast. He said: You are not like us, O Messenger of Allah; Allah has forgiven your past and future sins. He said: By Allah—meaning—I hope to be the most fearful of Allah among you, and the most knowledgeable of what I avoid.
