machine translationZayd b. Aslam narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. The sons of Zayd b. Aslam, Usāmah, ʿAbdullāh and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, narrated it from Zayd, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Saʿīd. Kāmil b. Ṭalḥah narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Abū Saʿīd, then retracted it, and this is not from the hadith of Mālik. A shaykh known as Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Anas al-Sāmī, who was weak, narrated it from Abū ʿĀmir al-ʿAqadī, from Hishām b. Saʿd, from Zayd b. Aslam, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Abū Saʿīd, but it is not authentic from Hishām. Sufyān al-Thawrī narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam, from a man, from another, from the Prophet ﷺ, and this is the sound version. Al-Darāwardī narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam, from the one who narrated to him that the Prophet ﷺ said. Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd al-Anṣārī narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam as mursal from the Prophet ﷺ. The sound version is what al-Thawrī said. Ibn Mubashshir narrated to us, Aḥmad b. Sinān narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Zayd b. Aslam, from a companion of his, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, who said: One does not break the fast by vomiting, nor by a wet dream, nor by cupping. Ibn Makhlad narrated to us, Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. ʿĪsā narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Yaḥyā narrated to us, from Sufyān, Zayd b. Aslam narrated to me, from a man of his people, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ who settled in Syria, from the Prophet ﷺ, to that effect.
