✧ Group of Chapters on Actions That Invalidate the Fast of the Fasting Person

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، وَسَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، وَمُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّ أُخْتِي مَاتَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا صِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ، قَالَ: لَوْ كَانَ عَلَى أُخْتِكَ دَيْنٌ، أَكُنْتِ تَقْضِينَهُ ؟ " قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " فَحَقُّ اللهِ أَحَقُّ

✧ A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: My sister died and she owed fasting two consecutive months. He said: "If your sister had a debt, would you pay it?" She said: Yes. He said: "Then the right of God is more deserving."
