حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ مَا لَا أُحْصِي غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ قَالَ:
كُنَّا عِنْدَ عَمَّارٍ، فَأُتِيَ بِشَاةٍ مَصْلِيَّةٍ، فَقَالَ: كُلُوا فَتَنَحَّى بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي صَائِمٌ. فَقَالَ عَمَّارٌ: مَنْ صَامَ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي يُشَكُّ فِيهِ فَقَدْ عَصَى أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ
Translation

✧ We were with 'Ammar when a roasted sheep was brought. He said, "Eat." Some of the people withdrew, saying, "I am fasting." 'Ammar said, "Whoever fasts the day about which there is doubt has disobeyed Abu al-Qasim."
