حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ، وَمَنْ قَامَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAmr b. ʿAlī
  2. Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah
  3. al-Zuhrī
  4. Abū Salamah
  5. Abū Hurayrah
  6. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven, and whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Qadr out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
