أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، [قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ]، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ فَدَنَا وَأَنْصَتَ وَاسْتَمَعَ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَزِيَادَةُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ، وَمَنْ مَسَّ الْحَصَى فَقَدْ لَغَا

Translation

✧ Whoever performs ablution on Friday and performs it well, then comes to Friday, draws near, listens attentively, and remains silent, he will be forgiven what is between it and the (next) Friday plus three more days. And whoever touches the pebbles has engaged in idle talk.
