أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ:

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الشِّرَاءِ وَالْبَيْعِ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ، وَأَنْ تُنْشَدَ فِيهَا الْأَشْعَارُ، وَأَنْ يُنْشَدَ فِيهَا الضَّالَّةُ، وَعَنِ الْحِلَقِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade buying and selling in the mosques, that poems be recited in them, that a lost animal be announced in them, and (he forbade) circles on Friday before the prayer.
