أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ( ح )، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حُصَيْنٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ رُوَيْبَةَ الثَّقَفِيَّ قَالَ:
خَطَبَ بِشْرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ وَهُوَ رَافِعٌ يَدَيْهِ يَدْعُو، فَقَالَ عُمَارَةُ: قَبَّحَ اللهُ هَاتَيْنِ الْيَدَيْنِ، رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، وَمَا يَقُولُ إِلَّا هَكَذَا - يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ

✧ Bishr b. Marwan delivered a sermon while raising his hands supplicating. 'Umarah said: "May Allah disfigure these two hands. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the minbar, and he did not say anything except like this," indicating with his finger.
