✧ I came to al-Tur and met Ka'b al-Ahbar there. I narrated to him from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he narrated from the Torah, and we did not disagree until I passed by the day of Friday. I said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "In every Friday there is an hour which no believer coincides with while he is praying, asking Allah for something, except that He gives it to him."' Ka'b said: 'Rather, in every year.' I said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not say that.' He went back and recited, then said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke the truth: in every Friday.' Then he mentioned the hadith in full with the story of Abdullah b. Salam.
