✧ The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. In it Adam was created, in it he was settled in Paradise, and in it he was expelled from it, and in it the Hour will be established. He said: I said to him: Is it something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: Rather, it is something Ka'b narrated to us.

  • Ibn Khuzaymah

  • Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Bayhaqī

machine translationMuḥammad b. Isḥāq b. Khuzaymah held that this disagreement concerns his statement, "On it Ādam was created," to the end. As for the statement, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday," it is from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, without any doubt.
