أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَدَّادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَبُو عَمَّارٍ وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ نَفَرًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ - قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ:

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَسَةَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ فِي صِفَةِ إِسْلَامِهِ، وَقَالَ: وَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ، وَقَالَ: ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ قَدَمَيْهِ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللهُ إِلَّا خَرَجَتْ خَطَايَا قَدَمَيْهِ مِنْ أَطْرَافِ أَصَابِعِهِ مَعَ الْمَاءِ

✧ 'Amr b. 'Abasah narrated to us, and he mentioned the hadith in full regarding the description of his embracing Islam, and he said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, tell me about ablution.' And he mentioned the hadith in full, and he said: 'Then he washes his feet up to the ankles as Allah commanded him, except that the sins of his feet come out from the tips of his toes with the water.'
