أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، وَأَبُو مُوسَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ:

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَرَكَ آيَةً، وَفِي الْقَوْمِ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، نَسِيتَ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، أَوْ نُسِخَتْ ؟ قَالَ: " نُسِّيتُهَا

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed and omitted a verse, and Ubayy b. Ka'b was among the people. He said: O Messenger of God, did you forget such-and-such verse, or has it been abrogated? He said: I forgot it.
