وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ بِسُورَةِ "ق" فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ: وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ
Translation

✧ He heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting Surah Qaf in the morning prayer, and I heard him recite: “and tall palm trees with clustered fruit” (Q 50:10). And he said once: “tall, with clustered fruit.”
