أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ يُوسُفُ: ابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ الْبَجَلِيُّ، وَقَالَا: قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

لَقِيَ عَبْدَ اللهِ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: صَدَقَ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يَمُرَّ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لَا يُصَلِّي فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَأَنْ لَا يُسَلِّمَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَّا عَلَى مَنْ يَعْرِفُ، وَأَنْ يُبْرِدَ الصَّبِيَّ الشَّيْخُ

✧ A man met 'Abdullah and said: Peace be upon you, O Ibn Mas'ud. 'Abdullah said: Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Among the signs of the Hour is that a man will pass through the mosque without praying two rak'ahs in it, that a man will not greet except the one he knows, and that a child will be made to grow old by an old person.
