أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الصَّنْعَانِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ:
دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَقُلْتُ: أَيْ رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُّ صَلَاةٍ هَذِهِ ؟ مَا كُنْتَ تُصَلِّيهَا ! قَالَ: إِنَّهُ قَدِمَ وَفْدٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ فَشَغَلُونِي عَنْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ كُنْتُ أَرْكَعُهُمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me after 'Asr and prayed two rak'ahs. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what prayer is this? You were not accustomed to pray it!' He said, 'A delegation from Banu Tamim arrived and distracted me from the two rak'ahs that I used to pray after Zuhr.'
