حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ أَيْضًا، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ أَيْضًا، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى صَلَاةً أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُدَاوِمَ عَلَيْهَا، وَكَانَ إِذَا شَغَلَهُ عَنْ قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ نَوْمٌ أَوْ مَرَضٌ أَوْ وَجَعٌ صَلَّى مِنَ النَّهَارِ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed a prayer, he loved to keep it up. And when sleep, illness, or pain kept him from the night vigil, he prayed twelve rak'ahs during the day.
